Dear Parkview Christian School Families:
I want to thank everyone for your involvement in and support of Parkview Christian School. I hope you all agree that it has been an excellent school year to this point. I find it to be a great privilege to work with the students of Parkview Christian School. They are truly one-of-a-kind!
As I made the transition from administration in public school to Parkview, I communicated that my mission for Parkview Christian School is to bring glory to God in every facet of the school day and to be focused on helping students grow in their faith and reach their God-given potential. In order to do this, we all have to be willing to commit to reaching excellence. We are committed to offering excellent academic instruction, challenging curriculum, a variety of co-curricular activities and Biblical instruction.
As a school administrator and more importantly as a husband and father, I admire your committment to Christian education and training for your child. It is a financial investment with lasting rewards for our families and specifically our children.
I know that in years past, tuition has gradually increased. I have worked diligently with the board in a cooperative effort to avoid having to raise tuition prices and to be able to continue to offer affordable Christian education. Together we have been wise stewards of our finances and have built-in systems of accountability for all money spent.
For the 2010-2011 school year, tuition prices for K-12 education will not increase. However, I cannot express enough the importance of early communication and timely re-enrollment on the part of our families. In the next couple of months, many decisions will be made to help our school continue its pursuit of excellence. Contracts will be offered to teachers, needed positions will be hired, and curriculum decisions will be made. It is imperative for me to have a clear understanding of our upcoming enrollment to best serve our students and to continue to function within our budget. I would greatly appreciate your help in this area. The enrollment application forms and enrollment fees of $325 per student are due by March 15th. If they are received after March 15th, enrollment fees will increase to $625 for returning students.
I know that as a school family we are committed to doing everything within our means to help our school succeed and function as efficiently as possible. Your early communication and re-enrollment is vital in allowing me to be proactive about providing our students an unmatched educational experience. The 2010-2011 school will mark Parkview's 30th year of service. Together we can make it the best yet.
In Christ,
Zachary G. Kassebaum
